Spectrum offers rugged high performance (Emergency Locator Transmitter) ELT antennas operating in the frequencies 121.5, 243, 406 MHz for transmitting the RF signals with an ability to withstand a power up to 35W. The antenna is well matched in the relevant frequencies and is vertically polarized. The signal of the ELT is detected by the COSPAS – SARSAT satellite network and then alerted to the nearest rescue authority. Our mechanical design will provide the antenna excellent aerodynamic properties and mechanical robustness to withstand the severe environmental and dynamic stresses.
