MONOLITHIC RADOME
Product Description
SR08A01-A0 is a monolithic hemispherical broadband Radome designed for operating in the frequency band
of 1-18GHz. The purpose of the Radome is to protect the antenna from external aerodynamic loads and
environmental loads without degrading the electrical performance of the antenna. This type of Radome
is installed in the near field of the antenna and hence the Radome should be considered as part of
the antenna. This Radome is vacuum molded from single piece glass to provide rugged and reliable
structure for withstanding the extreme environmental conditions experienced on subsonic and supersonic
aerodynes.
